This is Pukara, a rock hole close to Irrunytju in Western Australia. There are two wanampi living here (water serpents). They are father and son. The two snake men saw that the Anangu women were collecting bush foods. That evening the son snuck back to the camp and stole all the food the women had collected. They saw him and speared him in the side. Tjukurpa mulapa. This is a true story. The two snakes still live at this place. The son ate some Anangu (Aboriginal people) because he was angry with them. This is a dangerous place.
