Artwork Story

The woman Malila and her crippled foot – This is a creation story which people are still today keeping safe and alive. It is from a place called Kanpi. Many people often tell this story, and the woman Malila stays in existence. She was a woman who went hungry often because of her inability to search and hunt for meat. This was because one of her feet was lame. She was a woman to feel very sorry for. She would have to wait for her two daughters to bring her meat and they would. She lived in a cave near Kanpi. This is the way the poor woman had to live. Women are reminded of Malila when they too are hungry.
