This print shows Yirrimbirrnga thon Borroonoongoo – Pelican and Lacrosse Islands which lie off the West Australian Coast near the mouth of the Ord River near Wyndham. These islands are where the Waloojabi (black headed python) begins its journey. The Waloojabi in the dreamtime lived in a billabong on Pelican Island before travelling all the way inland to timber creek in the Northern Territory. On its travels it created many rivers, creeks and springs.
