Madigan Thomas is part of the Warmun (Turkey Creek) community, Western Australia. She began painting in the mid 1980’s, along with well known Aboriginal artist Queenie McKenzie and other Warmun women.
Madigan Thomas has a clearly defined style and uses silhouetted landforms outlined in fine dots. She was a finalist in the1994 National Aboriginal Art Award, the most prestigious art award in Australia held annually at the Museum and Art Gallery of Northern Territory, Darwin.
