Artwork Story
Zarid Baksuni was born in Baun and now resides in Kupang. His mother is a weaver and a member of Sanggar Uim Nima in Baun. His usual art practice is wood carving having learned his skills in Ubud in Bali. He has also worked as a set designer – builder in Yogyakarta and Ubud. He is very keen to continue to produce prints and continues to make etching plates.
