Donald Moko was born c. 1928 and is a senior law man from the Mindi Mindi clan of thr Yulparja. He was born at Kalajadu near Wangkatjungka, west of Well 33 on the Canning Stock Route in the Great Sandy Desert. He grew up traveling all around his traditional country with his parents. He went through law and trained as a traditional Maparn (medicine man). This took him traveling all around. He came to Bidyadanga in the late 1960’s with his wife Mary Meribida and their children.
