Artwork Story

SIMBOL FETOR TINENTI was the traditional seal used by one of the four Fetor of the Amarasi Kingdom. The Fetor served as advisors and ministers to the Amarasi Raja. These ancient seals were used to sign documents, brand livestock and for the incision on tree trunks for the demarcation of territory and represented the Fetor’s clan. This symbol appears on a document signed by the Fetor Tinenti in the late 19th century, along with the other Fetor of Amarasi. The Fetor were aristocrats of the Amarasi Kingdom. Tinenti territory was located in the south of Amarasi.
