Artwork Story

SIMBOL FETOR AMTIRAN was the traditional seal used by one of the four Fetor of the Amarasi Kingdom. The Fetor served as advisors and ministers to the Raja. These ancient seals were used to sign documents, brand livestock and for the incision on tree trunks for the demarcation of territory and represented the Fetor’s clan. This symbol appears on a document signed by the Fetor Amtiran the late 19th century, along with the Sortui, Pasu and Tineti Fetor of Amarasi. The Fetor were aristocrats of the Amarasi Kingdom. Amtiran territory was located in the south of Amarasi Kingdom.
