‘Winga is the sea, it goes this way and that way. The tide comes in and goes out. I go and see if it is good tide for hunting. When there is awunupakupurunga (new moon) that is pumpuni japarra (good moon) for hunting. That time I love to go hunting. We can find kirimpika (mud crab), arijilani (hermit crab) yuwurli (mangrove worm), wakijapa (cheeky mangrove worm) you gotta boil him up first, wujirrima (periwinkle). I hunt inside the pamparinga (mangrove), this is all bushtucker for the Tiwi’.
