Artwork Story
Ken Shepherd was born in Leonora and now lives in Warakurna with family. Ivan Shepherd a senior artist with Warakurna Artists is Ken’s stepfather.
Ken is a committed painter and his vibrant works depict his father’s Tingari stories from his country Walpirnta.
In 2007 Ken was elected onto Warakurna Artists Executive Committee. He has been a powerful advocate and has been involved in several media projects promoting his paintings, country and Art Centre.
