Artwork Story
Peggy Jones was introduced to painting in 1996 after joining the Julalikari Women’s Arts and Craft program in Tennant Creek. She quickly established a reputation for paintings of bush life. Her favourite subjects include bush tucker, bush animals, soaks and waterholes and her wonderful birds. Peggy Jones celebrates her subjects by painting in bold, expressive colours, which radiate charisma and personality.
