Artwork Story
The stories Sade paints are from her family’s country, Texas Downs Station, as well as her Great Grandmother’s country, Purnululu (the Bungle Bungles). Purnululu is a significant place to Gija people and contains many important Ngarrangkarni (Dreaming) sites. It lies southwest of Warmun Community.
