Artwork Story

Bonney James was born near Lake Disappointment, which is a little further south of Well 26 on the Canning Stock Route. He has and continues to live here in the community of Wirrimanu with his wife Stella Gimme, daughter of the famous Eubena Nampitjin. Being strong in culture and tradition, Bonnie is one of Wirrimanu’s prominent law men and often participates numerous activities in and out of law time.
